Dada Ramchand Bakhru Sindhu Mahavidyalaya (formerly known as Sindhu Mahavidyalaya) is a 53 year old premier institution of Nagpur imparting quality education to students in the faculties of Science & Commerce. It is run by Sindhi Hindi Vidya Samiti which comprises of a team of social workers committed to the mission of propogating education. The college was founded on 1st July 1971. The college is reaccredited by NAAC in Grade A with CGPA 3.09 The courses run by the college are B.Sc.(Chemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Electronics, Physics, Maths, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science), in science faculty.In commerce faculty B.Com, B.B.A. and M.Com. The institute also has junior college(+2 level) in Science, Commerce and MCVC.The college has UGC network resource centre, Equal Oppurtinuity Cell, NCC unit, NSS and Adult Education, Infilibnet, library facilities and computer centre with internet.

e – Resources :- As the member of N-LIST Consortium of UGC – INFLIBNET Centre Gandhi Nagar, the users are eligible to access around 3135000 E Books and around 6000 E Journals 24*7.
Internet Service :- The college is having a separate Internet connection and are having various client connections to the Main Server. Any user can access the Internet connection for their academic purpose only.
Lending Service :- It is one of the basic service , college provide to the user community. All the students are eligible to get one book against B.T. issued to them and teaching staff can issue up to 10 books at a time.
Physical area for Library :- Library is having separate building with area about 2500 Sq. Ft. A Separate reading room is available with us with a sitting capacity 100.
UGC Book Bank Scheme :- Under this Scheme the college provides 3 to 4 Books to the Meritorious and Poor Students for a session.
Inter Library Service :- Under this Scheme the college lend and provides document to other institute under MOU sign by the Member Libraries.
